Frances O. Thomas comes from a musical family. She probably started singing at about the same time she began talking. One of her most cherished family photos depicts Fran and her father sitting at her Nana and Grandpap’s piano with an uncle strumming a ukelele in the background.
Fran has been performing publicly since age nine when she co-authored a play in fourth grade in which she also co-starred. And co-directed.
At around the same time, she began playing the flute.
Fran has sung in church choirs, college choruses, and community chorales. She has been part of little theater groups, both on stage and behind the scenes. She has even danced with a team of women, all over the age of 50.
In the Southwest Florida Journal, Fran plans to cover the performing arts throughout the area.
